New Peace Corps Volunteer Joins Stepping Stone

Last October 12, 2018, Friday marked the swearing-in ceremonies of our assigned Peace Corps Response Volunteer to the Philippines. The swearing-in ceremonies were led by no less than U.S. Ambassador Sung Kim at the Microtel Hotel, Mall of Asia.

Ms. Carol Cochrane, a Pediatric-Physical Therapy Specialist joined Stepping Stone Sucat to enhance the skills of our newly opened Physical Therapy Center.

New Peace Corps Volunteer Joins Stepping Stone

She will be staying with Stepping Stone Sucat for approximately eight (8) months and will also be sharing her expertise thru a series  of lectures   with partner schools that Stepping Stone is affiliated with. Ms. Carol is the fourth (4th) Peace Corps Response Volunteer (PCRV) who has joined Stepping Stone. She is, however the first Pediatric Physical Therapy Specialist as the other three (3) PCRV’s were experts in the field of Speech and Language Pathology.

As with our other PCRV’s, it is hoped that Ms. Carol will be able to improve the skills  capacity of our Physical Therapy Interns and Supervisors and bring the Center to achieve its goals of providing world class physical therapy to those who need it.

Thank you Peace Corps for all the work you do. We at Stepping Stone are grateful for this opportunity to partner with you.
